Hello,
I have an extreme case of unilateral genu varum, 84 year old male,
severe OA and instability. I would like to try him in a KAFO with free
motion joints, but to get the best control, I am sure I will have to
lock the knee joint. What joint would you recommend that is easily set
in free motion, but if needed can be used as a trigger lock ideally? In
the simplest form, I know I could use drop lock joints, take the lock
away, then put back in place if needed, but not using KAFO joints that
often, I am wondering if there is anything that would work better for
me?
Thanks
