Hello, and Thank You, to all who responded to my question about the
above-noted socks. The majority of respondents suggested the Knit-Rite AFO
sock, which apparently measures 2 ½” x 14”, which should work for my
patient. Another response was to look into the Royal Knit products and, in
particular, their cool max line. I had considered this, but rejected it due
to the increased thickness of the cool max material. Otherwise, I’m sure it
would be a fine product. The final recommendation was to look at fencing
socks (as in saber, epee, broadsword, etc., not cyclone or security), which
were described as very thin and narrow. Which brings me to my final remark:
If you ever find yourself on the wrong end of a sword held by Brian Moore,
CPO, GIVE UP OR DIE. :-)
Thanks to All,
