Good Afternoon,
It is my understanding from and article Medicare was established
in 1965 to focus on the elderly population, and then included the
disabled population in 1972.
Do any of you know what year L codes were introduced?
I would also be interested in knowing what year the K levels were
introduced.
I believe the L codes came first, then the K levels but was looking for
references.
Thank you,
Ed Skewes CPO
