Dear List,
As a company that has almost exclusively fabricated laminated sockets
for the past 5 years, we are now looking at alternative materials due
mainly to health issues with carbon fiber and resin as well as cost of
materials & fabrication. I am interested in finding out more about
thermoplastics, specifically polypro & copoly. Pros & cons of each when
considering BK & AK sockets. I am also interested in thickness of
plastic being used in the field for sockets as well as experience with
pigmented plastics. Overall experiences are welcome as well.
I will post replies with names unless otherwise specified.
