Becker manufactures quarter by three quarter stainless steel Non
protrusion drop lock knee joints. If the patient breaks these pair of
joints, I would not want to meet up with him in a dark alley.

Good luck,

Try ALIMCO metal joints.

Try calling Townsend Design they manufacture their own hinge and my be
able to accommodate your request! 1-800-432-3466

We now have a new system called the unilateral system. It can be used
as a unilateral system up to 220 lbs. and in tandem (double upright) up
to 350 lbs. You can see the system at our website:

I have always relied on Becker's largest stainless steel NON-modified
drop locks (3/4x1/4). Haven't had a failure, yet, and have put them
on some pretty large people. You may need to have a reamer handy to
make them work smoothly as the tolerances between the nut and joint
hole are rather tight.

We manufacture various type knee joint for KAFO. One of them is made of
SS 304 by investment casting and it's a drop-lock joint. Another type is
made of sheet metal, where thickness and width can be customize as per
the need. If you feel it may help you, please contact me. I'll give you
further details.
