OPAF, the Orthotic & Prosthetic Assistance Fund, Inc. and MAAF, the Mutual
Amputee Aid Foundation of southern California will be hosting another First
Volley adaptive tennis clinic on Saturday, October 28, 2006 at the Alta
Vista Tennis Courts in Redondo Beach, CA. This is the second clinic to be
held in the Los Angeles area this year. First Volley is an adaptive tennis
clinic for amputees, orthosis wearers and those with physical challenges.
Participants are put through a series of tennis drills and strokes, with
attention to their specific needs. The clinic concludes with the always
popular, Hitting for Prizes, thanks to Prince Sports. First Volley is
made possible through the generous support of our primary sponsors, Prince
Sports, Comfort Products and Otto Bock Healthcare.
There is NO CHARGE to First Volley participants, but registration is
necessary for staff to be prepared for a great day! Registration materials
are available on the OPAF website homepage at www.opfund.org or from MAAF
President and OPAF Director-Elect, Phil Tamoush at 310-450-3921. Should you
