OPAF, the Orthotic & Prosthetic Assistance Fund, Inc. and MAAF, the Mutual
Amputee Aid Foundation of southern California will be hosting another First
Volley adaptive tennis clinic on Saturday, October 28, 2006 at the Alta
Vista Tennis Courts in Redondo Beach, CA. This is the second clinic to be
held in the Los Angeles area this year. First Volley is an adaptive tennis
clinic for amputees, orthosis wearers and those with physical challenges.
Participants are put through a series of tennis drills and strokes, with
attention to their specific needs. The clinic concludes with the always
popular, Hitting for Prizes, thanks to Prince Sports. First Volley is
made possible through the generous support of our primary sponsors, Prince
Sports, Comfort Products and Otto Bock Healthcare.

There is NO CHARGE to First Volley participants, but registration is
necessary for staff to be prepared for a great day! Registration materials
are available on the OPAF website homepage at www.opfund.org or from MAAF
President and OPAF Director-Elect, Phil Tamoush at 310-450-3921. Should you
have any questions, or wish to volunteer, please contact OPAF Executive
Director, Robin Burton at 215-752-5756 or Phil Tamoush at 310-450-3921.
OPAF continues to fulfill its mission of Giving Wings to Dreams!R

With programs like First Volley, First Swim and First Swing, OPAF reaches
out to the O & P community with opportunities to partner in helping our
population return to a more active life and achieve health and fitness. For
more information on how you may join with OPAF in hosting a First clinic,
