Hello all!
I wanted to update everyone on our custom transfer experience and see if
there are more suggestions.
We tried the image copied onto iron on transfer paper from Staples (I
haven't got the package here but I think it was the Staples brand - it was
the only iron-on paper on the shelf). I copied with my inkjet printer -
Epson Stylus with photo quality copy and it even had a setting on the
printer specifically for Iron-On copies as well as the mirror feature.
Basically it didn't work. What we ended up with was a film on the polypro
(I know colene is the best but this is for a PLS AFO so colene wasn't an
option). This film had the colour in it but it was like a scratch and win
ticket - it scratched off very easily with no residue or colour left. We
have a couple of samples left that I would like to experiment with once we
have more time .... Any suggestions on the best way to do this would be much
appreciated!! I was thinking about spraying it with silicon or something
but I think that would just increase the chance of the colour peeling off
If anyone knows what we're doing wrong I would love to hear from them!!
