There is a large government run P & O centre in the capital. A man from
India is the manager. I believe it is the main hospital.

Dear Ken,
There is a prosthetic service in Lae on the north coast of Papu New Guinea.
The only other option is in Australia, with the closest service in
Townsville, Queensland, about 2 1/2 hours by jet from Port Moresbey.
______
Hi Ken,
I was the Superintendent of the National Orthotic Prosthetic Services
(NOPS) department in Lae, PNG from 1986 to 1988.
The lab is attached to Angau Hospital and patients from all over the country
are repatriated there, all expenses paid for by the national health
department.
To my knowledge thee is still only one center in the country providing P&O
services.
If you want more info, just contact me. I'm in Vancouver, Canada.
