My patient is a BK who needs a new set of Alpha Liners. Good kid, very
active, but has no health insurance. He does not want to go see his Dr.,
because since he does not have health insurance, he will pay through the
nose for what he feels is just a new set of liners. He has not seen a Dr.
for any prosthetic care or follow up in about 3 years. He kept coming to us
for new this and new that and the Dr. kept faxing us the Rx for whatever the
kid needed. But now the Dr. has had enough and insists on seeing the
patient. Thus the problem. The patient want to come to us, pay cash and we
get him the liners.

As far as I ever knew, we can not provide any patient care without an Rx.
Am I correct, or not ?

Thanks in advance.
