Who cares ! More time should be spent reading about real solutions and
alternatives to establishing real and meaningful qualifications and more
important criteria for protecting the public, than continuing the alpha bet
soup wars.
Want to read about more meaningful reporting that will have a real effect on
protecting your livelihood as a legitimate professional? Then read the O&P
Edge's excellent articles regarding licensure in this month's issue and
provided in the links below.
I congratulate all the participants whom participated in the stories and in
particular, the O&P EDGE writers and staff, and the Academy, who appears to
be making a real effort on promoting state regulation by establishing a
licensure task force.
If I had one sentence, without me personally beating the regulation drum
again, and to further get to the bottom line of benefits licensure
provides, it would be O&P Edge Editor's Miki Fairley quote in her Viewpoint
column ;
Licensure not only protects the welfare of the public, it helps protect
the livelihood of the bearer.
Have a great weekend
Kudos to all.
