I have a new patient who is a long time wearer of an exoskeletal
prosthesis and is in need of a replacement. As many of you already
know, wood knee-shin systems (Mauch/CaTech compatible) are no longer
being manufactured, and any remaining stock has been depleted. I am
curious if any providers have a residual stock and would you considering
selling me one?
If not, I am also seeking ideas on an endoskeletal alternative. This
gentleman is a farmer and is naturally extremely active. He does a
considerable amount of kneeling and his previous attempts at wearing an
endoskeletal system failed due to poor durability of the knee frame and
especially the knee cap. Cosmesis is a moderate concern and naturally a
foam cover would be contraindicated.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
