Thank you to all who responded to my Corset Stay inquiry; I found what
I was looking for!

Hi Mark,
Call Freeman MFG. 800-253-2091 and ask for the white bones, they come in
6mm width and from 3-19 in length at 1/2 intervals. Each size has its
own part number.
Jeff Ropp, CP
Mark,
Try <URL Redacted>, They have bone stays as thin
as 1 mm.
Good Luck.
Bradford Baker, CO, C.Ped
Mark,
I thought that I was the only one who used them! Well, that's what I
get for thinking. I've actually had other prosthetists make fun of me
for using such unreliable, low-tech instruments such as corset stays for
evaluating socket fittings. I would visit your local fabric store to
see if they have what you need. I would bet that they do. Take care.

DEAR MARK, TRY FREEMAN MFG. COI. AT 800-253-2091 OR FEINER SUPPLY
800-253-2091
MAX LERMAN C.O.
If you have a plastic sheet material supplier around, get a thin left
over (cut-off - they have those for pennies), about 2 mm thick piece of
PVC and make your own 'stay. Or miss-handle a thin, flexible plastic
ruler. Both It work fine for that purpose.
Wieland Kaphingst, CPO
You did not happen to go to Century College? That is where I was
introduced to corset stays. I believe that I saw some in Euro
International's catalog (which is just their name pasted over a German
company's catalog). You will have to figure out the metric equivalent
of the size you need.
Best regards,
Charles King, CP
