Mark,
Please post if you find a source for the stay.

By the way....
There was a gentleman at a Natl' Assembly in '97? Who demonstrated a
pressure measurement device using small wafer sensors placed over the bony
prominence. The device allowed one to document the reduction in pressure
after adjustment was made. Granted, the numbers were somewhat arbitrary,
but at least one could rest assured that the pressure had been reduced.

We bought one and used it for some time at the facility where I worked.

Anyone remember this??

Subject: [OANDP-L] Corset Stay for Prosthetic fitting

Can anyone help me locate a very thin, flexible corset stay that
Prosthetists can use to identify pressure areas within sockets; I
understand corset manufacturers are no longer making this style of stay?
If this type of stay has in fact been discontinued does anyone have a
stock of older corsets (with this style of stay) that they may be
willing sell? Any assistance is appreciated. Thank you.
