There is a sign on the display table that clearly states custom made inserts. Their business card describes them as diabetic specialist. I talked to him and he said with the perscription and Dr. certification Medicare would pay for the shoes and inserts. Somehow he or someone else is billing medicare for shoes and inserts provided out of a facility that cannot possibly meet medicares 21 standards for suppliers.
Has anyone else come across this and reported it? If so please let me know how it turned out.
