AOPA extends its condolences to those affected by Hurricane Frances and
wishes a swift recovery to all those involved in the clean up efforts.

In addition, we have news from the headquarters hotel of the AOPA
National Assembly (Sept. 20-23), the luxurious Westin Diplomat Resort &
Spa in Hollywood, Florida:

AOPA has received a very positive report from the Westin Diplomat Resort
& Spa that everything is ready for our upcoming annual trade show.
Fortunately, the oceanfront luxury hotel was largely unscathed by the
recent storm - all 1,000 sleeping rooms and all convention facilities
are up and running. The area around the Diplomat Resort (Hollywood and
Ft. Lauderdale) was fortunately spared from the brunt of Hurricane
Frances. More information is available at www.sunny.org.

Here are the facts about the largest annual O&P exhibition in the United
States:

-If you call the Westin Diplomat today, you may still snag a room at the
headquarters hotel for the AOPA Assembly. Registration is brisk but
some rooms are becoming available. There are also plenty of other
hotels in the immediate vicinity and the list of these hotels is
available at www.AOPAnet.org or by calling (571) 431-0876, ext. 234.

-Over 1,500 of your colleagues who have already registered have the
right idea - the AOPA trade show and education program is the best way
to secure important CE credits, meet with key suppliers, and learn the
latest thinking on O&P clinical techniques and practice management.

-Earn over 34 CE credits, visit with 150+ exhibitors, choose from more
than 100 educational sessions, attend a 1-day seminar on the do's and
don'ts of discounting at 1 oceanfront convention center and luxury
hotel: this all adds up to equal the 2004 AOPA National Assembly.
Register today for the biggest and the best in O&P.
