Hello All;
Recently a client of mine, while going through airport security, had her prosthesis swabbed for explosives. This quick test came back positive and led to further tests, naturally, nothing was found but this process did result in a substantial delay in boarding ( fortunately it was a small ariport and plane).
She wears a trans-tibial prosthesis with endoskeletal cosmetic finish which had recently had a new Dawskin placed on it. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know what would have caused this and is there any way to avoid this in the future?
Thanks in advance for any assistance in this matter.
