president for Healing Hands For Haiti.

Dear Mr. Barr,
Thank you for the generous donation of 10 boxes of prosthetic supplies to
Healing Hands for Haiti. I also would like to thank you for the Barr
Foundation's help in securing donations from Kingsley Manufacturing,, Ohio
Willow Wood, Silipos, DeRoyal Industries, Hanger O&P Group as well as the
numerous private individuals who have supported Healing Hands for Haiti
through your foundation.
We have received the 10 boxes of supplies most of which have been sent to
our prosthetic shop in Haiti. We are in the process of arranging funding for
shipping for the remaining boxes. As you are aware, it takes a fair amount
of skill to get things through customs in Haiti which is one reason why we
have not shipped everything yet. You may rest assured that every item
donated will be used to provide a prosthetic limb for a H aitian child or
adult in need and that we will make every effort to provide appropriate
training for the recipients so that they can regain a large measure of
functional independence. In Haiti, a prosthetic limb may mean the
difference between being able to provide for your family or having your
family go hungry because a physical disability often brings with it an
inability to make a living.
Healing Hands for Haiti would be honored to have you come to Haiti and
observe our clinic, therapy shcool, prosthetic shop and guesthouse. I
understand that Tom Bremer CP of Bremer Prosthetics of Flint, Michigan is
planning a return trip in January.
We would love to have you accompany Mr. Bremer.

support and generous donation to the Healing Hands for Haiti Foundation.
Together, we can make a difference for the disabled in the western
hemisphere's poorest country.
