AOPA and OPTA have teamed up to offer qualified technicians a FREE full
day of quality education during the 2003 National Assembly (October
22-25, Reno, Nevada). The technician training program for all qualified
fabrication specialists begins at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 25.
The program covers an array of topics including:
-Finishing techniques for endoskelatal prosthesis
-Vacuum forming tips and suggestions
-Diagnostic test sockets (blister vs. drape)
-Safety in the lab
-Flexible plastics (differences, benefits, cost)
-Shop maintenance
-Orthotic cast modifications
-Metal bending
-Oven comparisons (differences, benefits, cost)
The technician program is FREE! All qualified technicians will receive
a complimentary registration for Saturday, October 25, which includes
access to all education sessions and admittance to the exhibit hall. To
