Dear Mr. Christian.

I notice you are the Operating Manager and not a practitioner. Just as
Ossur is comprised of business people claming they know what is good for our
patients and what is good for our industry. I cannot help but assume you
approve of the program because it is bottom line oriented. No where in your
posting did you say anything about better patient care, better outcomes,
better service or improving our industry. It is almost as if the Ossur
marketing department wrote your posting for you, very smooth, very clean but
really does not say much other than propoganda.

Please explain partnering with premium supplier like Ossur makes great
business sense for your patients. Your statement is a sound bite from the
Ossur marketing machine. Explain how it improves your patients life in any
way what so ever

It would be appreciated if you would please educate everyone participating
in this forum by answering the following questions:

When the practitioner in your office recommends an Ossur product, is he
doing it because you have to ensure you are maintaining minimum sales quotas
and pay a marketing fee to Ossur?

Is your practitioner allowed to order products other than Ossur for his
patients?

Have you informed your referrals and your patients that you pay a marketing
fee to Ossur and have you explained that you are required by contract to
purchase a minimum amount of products per year to be qualified as an Ossur
Affiliated Facility?

I notice on you web site you are compliant with the Ossur program and the
only product link you have on your entire web site is to Ossur. Are Ossur
products the only products you allow your practitioner to fit?

Do you have the Ossur Logo on your letterhead, business card and brochures
in your waiting room?

Seeing as you appear to only promote Ossur products, please explain how you
are not an extension or franchise of Ossur.

Please accept these questions as serious and motivated by professional
interest and constructive interaction. You are the first person to post on
this site other than Ossur to support the program. Many on this site just
don't see the benefit to the patients or the industry, perhaps you can
enlighten us.
