Subject: Suspension sleeves
I hark back to the time when BK suspension sleeves were used without suction valves. They were somewhat tougher than the air seal-Saran Wrap styles that are available today. They provided a circumferential compressive grip that actively held the prosthesis on the amputee's residuum and thigh anatomy. I'm seeking a sleeve that will hold up to a rigorous outdoor profession, a lumberjack, who still daily topples, limbs and skids trees out of the woods. (No, he will not switch suspensions.) Can any of you learned professionals tell me where I can still purloin such a sleeve?
