I would appreciate your insights on the following case below. Thank
you so much.
A 35 y/o man, weight - about 80 kilos, with an transverse tarsal joint
(Chopart) amputation, traumatic, about 20 year ago, distal anterior of
stump has a lot of scars with an open wound that has been infected -
inflamed , and on top of all that the patient has Hepatitis C. When
weight bearing the calcaneus and talus are stable yet the Tibia slips
forward into what looks like plantar flextion.
Any thought and ideas for a good prosthetic solution?
