   Novel project under the guidance of Dr. Jayant
Dharwadkar.
Fabrication of complete eyes for big statues and idols
with all the
details.
Some part of the income received from the Project will
be reserved for
the rehabilitation of disfigured patients.
    This project is launched to fulfil the demand of
artists to
fabricate eyes which will give lively looks to the
idols.
    Under the guidance of Dental Surgeon and
internationally renowned
maxillofacial prosthetists (specialist of fabrication
of facial organs)
Dr. Dharwadkar a novel project of fabrication complete
eyes with all
the details of eyes for big statues and idol is
launched. For this the
institute “Netrali” is started. With consultation with
many scientists,
engineers, technicians, artists, traditional
sculptures and prolonged
research the method of fabrication of artificial eyes
is developed.
    For accuracy, the impression will be taken on the
guidelines given
in dental science. Preferably the material used in
dentistry for taking
impressions will be used. While fabricating these eyes
priority will be
given to natural look and durability. The eyes will
contain all the
details like pupil, iris, white sclera, blood
capillaries, cornea. If
demanded the eyes will be made with eye lids matching
to the colour of the
statue. While fabricating these eyes, attention will
be given to the
advise of the artist. The iris will be fabricated in
any colour shade like
black, brown, grey, green etc. The eyes can be fitted
to the idols of
any size and shape made of stone, plaster of paris,
fiber, marble,
granite etc. The eyes are fully protected from heat of
intense light, sun
heat, wind and water. The life of eyes will be five
years onwards. The
artificial eyes given by Dr. Dharwadkar to single eyed
patients are
highly appreciated by the renowned eye specialists of
Pune and
internationally reputed foreign Maxillofacial
Prosthetists.
    Camlin Limited Company sent their experts for
guidance and prepared
few special colour shades which were not available in
the market and
presented those to the project. Experts from U.K. and
U.S.A. sent
special instruments for the project.
    Some part of the income received from this project
will be utilised
for the rehabilitation of poor disfigured patients by
giving them
facial prosthesis at very concessional rates.
