A Case Study Using X-Ray and Fluoroscopy to Determine the Vital Elements of
Transfemoral Interface Design

This case study examines the function of different elements of the
Transfemoral interface during the stages of gait. Gain knowledge of
static/dynamic fitting implications, optimal interface design and interface
fitting techniques.
Plexus Bed: Immobilization for Infants Following Brachial Plexus Surgery
Mark K. Taylor, MLS, CPO
Due to new and improved surgical techniques, infants who have brachial
plexus problems are being seen in the operating room much earlier than
before. This session will provide you with:
* an understanding of brachial plexus disabilities in infants;
* techniques needed to immobilize this infant following surgery; and
* casting techniques and fabrication.
