I have recently been asked to see a client for a colleague who is on
vacation. The client is a right hip disarticulation amputee about 4 months
pregnant. I have been trying to decide how best to proceed in case a new
prosthesis is needed and I need to do so before my colleague returns (as
well as for my own personal curiosity).
Does anyone have any experience with this population?
Do you use any special materials, trim lines, designs?
How long is wearing feasible? 6,7,8 months, full term?
Any other advice of information would be appreciated.
Thanks
