Although the national office has a code of ethics, it is only meant as a
guide line for the practitioner to follow. The national office and its
affiliates do not use this code of ethics as guide line when a situation like
you describe accrue.
When a Practitioner or a Facility loge a complaint, with the national
office sighting a violation of the code of ethics, it is routed to the proper
committee for review, even though the committee may agree with your
complaint, no action will be taken, including a letter of rebuke.
The bottom line is, the only stand the national office will ever take, is
if you fail to pay your membership or if you are found guilty in a Felony
conviction.
The national office never has put the practitioner or the facility ahead
of its own self surveying interest, this is the way it has always been.
How ever bad, it is necessary to have a representative origination in DC
to look out for our interest.
