The Amputee Coalition of America (ACA) and the Limb Loss Research and Statistics Program (LLRSP)
have a new service to offer to our limb loss research community. Each month we will provide a
selection of recently published limb loss research articles. Articles will be selected through a
comprehensive search of MedLine covering topics such as amputation surgery, rehabilitation, and
prosthetic outcomes, as well as etiology specific topics such as research in the area of trauma,
diabetes mellitus, peripheral vascular disease, cancer and congenital limb deficiency. For each
article, we will include the citation for the article and a link to PubMed where you may view the
abstract for the article. Due to copyright laws, we cannot provide copies of any journal articles or
reports listed.
