Tony,

God bless you. This is wonderful news. Perfect timing. Steve is really in allot of pain can't hardly walk. Huge boils and sores I just got back from getting him crutches and a cane. I hate seeing him this way. I do hope that he can be an example to get others help. He is exatic. He said to thank you with all his heart.

I left a message for you earlier. I guess I missed you.

Will let you know as soon as we see the doctors. I am going to try to get prescription that Osley's has for him. If not I will take him to my family doctor.

Please let me know if I can do anything else.

Thank you,
Donna @ Steve

Donna,we are pleased to let you and Nikki at State Representative Farrar's office know that we have received a offer from a very qualified practitioner in Houston to evaluate your brother as a possible applicant for funding from the Barr Foundation's, Barr United Amputee Assistance Fund.

Please contact Mr. DiBello's office immediately.Your brother will require a doctors prescription for repair or fabrication of new prosthesis for below (L/R?) knee amputee. If you don't have family doctor you can get a dx prescription at a walk in clinic.
You will be required to have this prescription to qualify for our possible assistance and to see Mr. DiBello:
  Contact him at: 713-747-4171
                         Dynamic Orthotics and Prosthetics
                         7015 Almeda Road
                         Houston Texas

We would like to use your brother as an example of a working age Texas resident, if Voc Rehab does not qualify, whom is able and willing to work to support himself and two children, but cannot qualify for prosthetic rehabilitation coverage from Texas Medicaid or other resources.Perhaps this example can help other amputees and Texas citizens requiring orthotics and of working age in Texas receive benefits.

Without proper prosthetic rehabilitation Mr. Wolf's only other option is to seek unemployment and welfare benefits subsidized by Texas agencies.Texas's newly enacted regulation of the O&P profession should follow Florida's precedent in their successful regulation and as a result of that regulation, Florida Medicaid expanded O&P coverage to adults in for the first time in the history of our state. Now private insurers are reevaluating the possibility of expanded coverage for O&P services.
Perhaps Representative Farrar would be willing to help with similar reform.
Please call today while to the opportunity is here!
