I think your statement is a little far fetched, I don't think someones wife can do these procedures, however this may help:
Below, is
the exemption clause as written in the Florida Statutes Chapter 468,
part X1V468:
Exemption from licensure:
Subsection (2) states: This act does not require an additional
license of, or regulate the practice of, any other licensed health
care professional within the state, or prevent a qualified member of
any other profession or any person employed under the supervision of
such a licensed professional from doing work of a nature consistent
with that person's training, as long as the person does not hold
himself or herself out to the public as a license under this act.

I have just been informed that anyone (unlicensed Orthotech or medical
assistant or xray tech or his wife) working in a Doctors office can fit any
type of orthosis the Doctor wants. Does anyone have clarification on this?
What is being done about this?
