You were at the Board meeting and heard what the director of the Florida
Orthopedic Society said, why the question? I believe the O&P Board's position
will be that the Board of Medicine cannot interpret O&P statutes or rules, that
is the function of the O&P Board. It is also clear to me that the clear text
meaning of the statute does not grant anyone other then a licensed orthotist or
prosthetist this privilege.
