Mary,
I believe we have already provided these people with  millions of dollars
worth of bread and butter.  It didn't work!  We have been pushed into a
cultural war triggered by a horrific attack upon innocent citizens.  Gee, I
wonder how many of the victims in the WTC had any bread and butter before
those jets flew into their offices at 350 miles per hour.  How many others
who were pulverized by tons of concrete, steel, glass and furniture had any
bread and butter earlier that morning of September 11th?  Maybe the one whose
fingertip was recovered?  As to the passengers on the jets which were crashed
in Washington and Pennsylvania, their last meals were no doubt bread and
butter served to them by smiling stewardesses moments before they witnessed
the savage throat cutting of these Islamic fanatics intent on murdering
people, destabilizing our country, destroying our way of life and, indeed,
our civilization.  Do you think no more of life than of having to protect and
defend it when called upon by the necessity of preserving it?  Sorry, Mary,
but I do not think it is time for bread and butter.  One would have to be
naive to think that some Wonder Bread and Land 'O Lakes is going to deter
psychopathic zealots like Mr. Osama from any future attacks.  What do you
think he has planned next?  Maybe a purse snatching?  I don't think so.  His
is a hatred and an evil which must be exterminated.  He would kill you
without thinking for a moment.  What is your life worth to you?  Enough to
defend it?  What is your freedom worth?  Enough to understand that it comes
at a price?  These are, indeed, perilous times.  May God bless America!
