Dear fellows,
Have you ever heard that surgical interventions in children with cerebral
palsy , but with associated degree of athetosis , could be dangerous ,
because it wouldn`t be possible to foresee what would happen after the
surgery with some groups of muscles?
One of my patients was told that if she try a femur osteotomy on her child
she could never walk again.
I would appreciatte any comments.
Sincerely,
