Response to JK Myers, C.O.-
Unfortunately, the Atlas of Prosthetics is out of print (has been
for several years). Mosby didn't want to do a reprint as I understand
it. However, in communications with John Michael, C.P.O., and John
Bowker, M.D., I understand that there are new efforts by the AAOS to
publish it again. We really need this reference book for our personal
libraries as well as for schools, hospitals, etc. I would like to
generate a groundswell of support to revive this important reference.
The ISPO Publications Committee sent a letter of support and
encouragement to the editors of the previous book (mentioned above)
within the last half year on this very subject. Perhaps if you contact
AAOS, you may get new info. Please post it if you do.
Good Luck, John Craig, C.P.O.
