I don't know of any specific software to do what you are requesting, but for
archival purposes, I recommend that my clients invest in a CD-RW drive for their
computer, and back-up their important business data to CD. A CD will easily
retain data for 10+ years, whereas magnetic media is more limited (i.e. tape or
ZIP(tm) disks) The software that comes with the CD-RW drive is usually adequate
for the task, but there are also specialized software that will cut music or
video CD's, as well as back up your data.
