O&P World Vol 4 Number1 CAD/CAM Comments from ISPO meeting
Text:
Catching up on my reading, I came across an article by Richard Ziegler on
page 60
titled
ISPO-Australia Conferees Consider CAD/CAM
Here is a quote from that article
David Boone, Washington State, USA, a foremost developer and proponent of
the system, was driven to ask why CAD/CAM has not been the force for change
that was envisioned originally. He cited some of the problems as well as the
promising elements of the system and set out some of the design parameters
that will need to be addressed if CAD /CAM is to become the revolution its
developers want it to be
Unfortunately, the article does not give specifics which I think would be
highly relevant.
If David Boone, or someone who was there, could give us the benefit of his
thoughts,
I think that would be beneficial to the inquiry...CAD/CAM..Where are we going?
