Heard of "M" rings for fingers?

Text:
I had an OT request that I procure the above for a client who has a head
injury with hyperextending tone in the proximal IP joints. I ordered and
tried adjusting those metal PIP rings to hold the fingers in slight flexion,
but the OT claims they're causing too much pressure. I'll try readjusting
them, but I'm wondering if there are other ideas and sources?
