Just read Mr. Fredrick's letter in the Readers' Forum of the latest O&P Business News. He is very disappointed at the article in the December 15 issue. He heard absolutely nothing . . .
and no one contacted him . . . and on and on with the usual and familiar rhetoric from a Hanger
employee when something is written critical of Hanger or an employee.
The facts were clear in the matter of Panton and the Board, and no amount of eloquent letters to the editor changes that.
O&P Business News owes no one an apology, period. They have been more than fair to Hanger
and their business practices. Maybe Hanger owes an apology to the people who invested in their
company in the past and a stock that is presently worth a buck-fifteen.
Florida is very fortunate to have the Governor make the appointments he made. It has suddenly become very obvious, if there is anything the profession and O&P patients don't need, it's another Hanger employee on the Board. We have one too many now.
