I gave a lecture on this subject of Post-operative oedema controll at the
Pacific Rim Conference this past February. I reported that I had been using
what I call an HCI - Hypobaric-Compresion-Interface, for the past ten
years with outstanding positive results. The HCI is a generic term I coined
in 1990 to generically describe the Iceross type suspension
interface/liner. I have used every available manufacturer design and have
found best results using the ALPS EasyLiner. There are two variations -
with/without fabric on the outer surface. The type without fabric allows
easier donning when face with a case with exquisite tenderness. One then
can progress to a thickerliner and one with fabric to apply greater
compressive forces.
I'd be happy to discuss this matter in more detail on the phone -
517-349-3129.
