Dear ?:
I noticed your posting on the OandP Listserve about a possible reunion for
former employees of the Andy Myers company. I'm assuming because you posted
it there because many of the former employees are practitioners -- maybe
even members of the Academy. We might be able to assist you once you've
decided to hold the reunion.
If you choose to hold your reunion at our Annual Meeting in Dallas, March
7-10, 2001 we might be able to help you do it very inexpensively. We could
announce it in our promotional program (if you make your decision prior to
its printing).
I'm sure you're aware of how costly it is to rent a hotel meeting room
nowadays. If we hear from you by December 5, we might be able to include a
meeting room for your function at no cost to you. (Our contract stipulates
that we have to release meeting rooms that we aren't using at that time so
the hotel can resell them.) You would pick up the food and beverage and any
other costs, of course.
If only a few respond, you might consider just asking them to meet in the
Brickskeller Sports Bar in the Wyndham Anatole Hotel on a selected day and
time. That way, it could be a pay-as-you-go basis with no risk to you.
Let me know if we can help . . .
