I have been asked by the father of a 35 year old CP patient to find knee
joints for a KAFO that allow trigger locking and unlocking in any
desired position. Function similar to prosthetic elbows if you get my
drift. He has been to at least two other orthotists and does not
understand that such a joint does not exist. He says no one is listening
to him. Maybe the joint does exist. So do any of you know of such knee
joints please comment. We have tried step lock but he insists on the
alternative locking device.
