Title:
Ohio Licensure
Text:
SB 238, a bill to license orthotists, prosthetists, and pedorthists operating
in Ohio passed the house today 90-6. This was the last day of session, so it
was difficult and important to get the bill on the docket for vote.
Senate passage is expected to be automatic and within a few days, as this
is a Senate bill and has already cleared the Senate Subcommittee.
It took 5 months from the time the bill was introduced. Following 2 years of
groundwork.
Now we are told, the work really begins.
