George Boyer raised his head again and continues his irrational reasoning:

Licensure......yep! A base of assured mediocrity. Assurance of high

Regulation has not only weeded out the unqualified that can harm the public,
it requires background checks of immoral and criminal character of its
applicants. Not everyone can pass the basic entrance exam which, for example,
one practitioner recently failed twice and wants to repeal the law to
eliminate all entrance examinations!!

Why have people required to pass a driving test if it doesnt mean they are
better able to drive?

The same drum beats but you have no followers George, except the guy that
flunked his entrance exam twice and maybe the convicted child molester that
fitted orthotic devices to children before regulation.
Both wear white clinic coats and ensignias of medical doctors. One also wears
the initials CPO when he is not obtained that credential either.

Requirements university residencies are quite possible and welcomed in the
field once the profession has been regulated.
One can only come after the other. Unless you know of ANY other legitimate
health care profession that requires residencies but no license to practise
that health care profession, let me know!

There is no a perfect scenario that 100% quarantees talented practitioners
or anything else for that matter ,but the threat of loosing a license to
practise, be fined or imprisoned might be incentives for those that need
them!
When was the last time you heard of a certification being suspended or
revoked.
The profession requires oversight and accountability thru regulation. The
patient, the consumer deserves better protection, period!
Be sure to check my spelling! We have gone over everything else many times
before. I am sure others tire of your invalid arguments but feel free to
corrospond with me privately if you get any new material.
All that energy George could help build advocacy.Such a waste.
more!
