Title:
Seeking jokes for an orthotic web site
Text:
I am an American CPO who manufactures a hyperextension orthosis. I am in the
process of constructing a web site (acebrace.com) to advertise my brace.
For years my hobby has been to collect -- and tell -- good jokes, funny
jokes, jokes that make you laugh from your belly.
On my web site I plan to host a joke-of-the-day page. I will put hundreds
of jokes into the computer, which will pick one out randomly each day for
posting.
I need good prosthetic or orthotic jokes. I have many, many jokes, but
very few that have to do with P&O. They have to be clean enough to post for a
general audience. They cannot demean P&O patients. In other words, they need
to be in good taste. And above all, they have to be funny.
I will give credit to the submitter of jokes I post.
Also, I remember one of the Northwestern Instructors (I did a prosthetics
AA there in '74 and '75 and short-term orthotics courses the next two years)
had a list of misspelled P&O words he had collected from tests. For example,
I remember palpitate for palpate and icicle for ischial. I would love
to see that if someone has it.
Thanks, in advance, for your jokes. Oh, BTW, of course I'll post my
responses here.
