Dear listmembers,
I have got a question about some experienced prosthetist concerning
services for partial amputees.
The question contains:
> On January 15, 1983, I received a right forefoot
amputation due to a severe crush injury. I received no PT and taught
my self to walk normally.
Since that time I have had this drive to find my ideal prosthetic
device, mainly one to provide toe-off.
I am 6'4 and weigh 220 lbs, I am very athletic.
I live in Rreno, Nevada. I do need
a new prosthesis and have not yet began the process, pending some new
insight.( Sacramento, SanFrancisco, LasVegas or even
Reno).<
If you you can give any advice to this amputee about the possibility to
get adequate service in the mentioned area, please send it to me and I
will transfer the message.
