Hello Everyone,

The last 24 hours of OANDP-L adventures have been quite interesting, and as
George Boyer points out, these discussions bring forth some issues that run
much deeper than strictly a matter of terminology.

I am not writing to ask for a halt to the discussion of this issue, but
rather to ask those who are involved in the discussions to please be
discretionary with their selection of public versus private postings.

A number of the postings would be much more productive, or less offiensive,
if sent privately. Although public postings in some cases are most
apropriate, please use good judgement before hitting the enter key on your
computer. Please be respectful of other members of this list, please
understand that this is an international forum, and also be aware that there
are children that are subscibed to this list (as evidenced by 10 year old
Rudy's posting earlier today).

OANDP-L will not be turned into a battle field of derogatory or inciteful
comments. Please consider that your postings are virtually the same as
standing up in front of an international forum of professionals, consumers,
men, women, and children. Your words and attitudes represent you, your
company, your profession, and your country. Choose them wisely, and be sure
to consider the implications of your message. Satire, sarcasm, and humor do
not transfer well through email.

Enjoy this forum, but please be respectful of each other.

Sincerely,

Paul E. Prusakowski, CPO
Moderator- OANDP-L
