maybe you would like to visit my amp site to see what I have to say about
practitioners
I am not anti all of them, just the hacks and the egos
I have no chip, I am simply stating my position and that of many amps (no
matter how many of you would wish that were different) who are not prepared
to take the onslaught of hostility that the industry heaps onto any amputee
who dares to speak out.
Are you sure you didn't mean castrated?
You can take all the offense you like at my remarks.
As for the laughing out loud, well, I am very aware of the billing
procedures (and rates) of the prosthetic industry and have made the pricing
available to anyone who wants it which many do as evidenced by the
popularity of the L-codes page on my site.
as for no money - lets talk about kickbacks - hmmmmm - anyone want to
explain that one? I can refresh your memories in case any of you are not
familiar with it -
O and P Almanac, March issue
The headline reads Why should I recommend Cirrus to my patients?
and the answer is...... a $150 kickback to the prosthetist.
EXACTLY who wins from that? The amputee? Not hardly. Unless of course,
and now it's my turn to laugh, the prosthetist shared that kickback with
the amputee. Or maybe even knocked that off the bill? Excuse me while I
reattach my a$$, I seem to have laughed it off.
