Ironically, I helped design the brace while working at PAL Health
Technologies. Dr. Richie, a D.C. from California, put together the concept
and contacted PAL about designing it for him. One of my employees (Kent
Montag) and I designed it, put together the manufacturing process, and
introduced it to the market.

Kent and I have both left PAL, as well as all of the original management
staff, but I believe they still produce the item.
