The Orthotics and Prosthetics Department at the Royal Brisbane
Hospital is undertaking a benchmarking process to check the
validity of standard times used to calculate work flow output
in our fabrication Unit. Current times used as standard were collated
over 10 years ago with input from both the public and private sector.

The intent is not at this time to undertake a formal process of
research,
but rather to validate our own data for our own use. To facilitate
this process we are seeking responses from other centers who
are interested in exchanging information. Our current times are freely
available, and included on a short survey which asks you to enter your
times beside ours. Results will be collated and made available to
participants. They may ultimately be published as a reference source,
however confidentiality is assured. If you are interested in sharing
information please email to me directly, and I will forward the survey
form.
