Warranty issues...

Although the Alpha liner is a good product and has made a huge impact on our
profession, the warranty still falls short of what we as prosthetists need to
see. One posting put it bluntly saying how he now looked like a money grabbing
individual. Every time we try to put someting new on our patients and it
doens't last long, that's exactly how we look.
To those of you who are looking for an alternative at this time, I strongly
suggest you try the EasyLiner from ALPS. It comes with a FULL ONE YEAR
WARRANTY against defects and workmanship. As with any product, misuse by the
patient or prosthetist cannot be expected to be covered. If you attended the
AAOP national assembly in Miami, you saw several people being put inside an
EasyLiner. That's right, the entire person. This demonstrated the stretch and
durability of the product.
I'm also being told by ALPS, that if you ask for one, they will be happy to
send you a free sample. I always enjoy something for nothing!
To those of you who responded some time ago to my posting regarding SocketPro
from ALPS, I will be contacting you shortly to begin setting up training
sessions. We have worked out a deal that will pay you to come to the sessions!
Stand by for more information.
