Dear Chris, Daniel and all interested parties...
I have had this interesting conversation, debating the origins and correct
use of Prosthetic and Orthotic as nouns or otherwise, many times in the
past. Never, however, have I indulged in the aforementioned conversation
before having imbibed at least ten (10) Guinni {noun; Irish origin; plural
of Guinness} plus accompanying chasers (mines a Bushmills).
I respectfully submit that Chris gets the next round in.
All the best,
Jim Beaumont,
Glasgow, Scotland.
