Hello oandp-l'ers,

It's the beginning of another great year for the O&P on the internet, and
oandp-l continues to
grow. There are currently over 800 subscribers to the service, and
hundreds of questions
have been posted and answered by users from around the globe.

We are currently working on updating all the log files. Our target date
for complete
access to all logs is April 1. I'll keep you posted on our progress.

We are also developing a new informational brochure to promote oandp-l. We
are requesting
testimonials from the subscribers to use in the promotional efforts. If
you would like to
send us your comments for possible inclusion in future publications, please
respond to this
message with your thoughts, full name, credentials, place of business,
city, and country.

I would also like to take this opportunity to introduce our panel of
moderators to all the new users.
The system is moderated by four orthotists, prosthetists, and educators
from around the globe. Derek Jones, PhD (Strathclyde University), Tim Bach,
PhD (The National Centre for Prosthetics and Orthotics, La Trobe
University, Australia), Steve Fletcher, CPO (Shands Hospital at the
University of Florida), and Paul E. Prusakowski, CPO (Shands Hospital at
the University of Florida) share the task of moderating the listserver
content, as well as the technical aspect of maintaining the system. Please
respect the comments and suggestions of these individuals.

The listserver is sponsored by the Orthotics and Prosthetics Department at
Shands Hospital at
the University of Florida.

The listserver has been endorsed by the International Society for
Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO)
and the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists as a tool for the
sharing of clinical and academic information. Although both organizations
endorse the listserver as a method of information exchange,
they cannot be held responsible for the content of the discussions.

Please remember to repost a compilation of responses for the benefit of all
subscribers!

As a reminder, commercial usage of OANDP-L is not appropriate, and will not
be tolerated.

For those of you having difficulties unsubscribing, send a mail message to
<Email Address Redacted> and include the following line in the body of the
message:

unsubscribe oandp-l

If you still have difficulties, it may be due to the fact that you
initially subscribed under a different
e-mail address. Be sure that the settings on your mail program's reply
to setting are the same
email address as where your oandp-l mail is being sent to.

If you are still having difficulties, send a request to unsubscribe
directly to me and it will be taken care
of.

Enjoy the listserver and be sure to encourage other practitioners to join
and enhance the knowledge base of the
system.
